Colin S. Russel

(BEng, McGill University, 1962; MBA, McGill University, 1971) joined the Trade Commissioner Service in 1971 after a period in the private sector. He has served in Hong Kong (twice) Madrid, Rabat, Manila, London and New Delhi. His headquarters assignments have included Director of the Japan Trade Development Division and, since 1993, Director of the China Division. Mr. Russel is married to Linden Russel and they have three children. He succeeds Garrett Lambert.
