Peter C. Newman

Peter Charles Newman, journalist, author, newspaper and magazine editor, born in Vienna, Austria, May 10,1929. He came to Canada as a refugee in 1940 and enrolled in 1944 as a "war guest" boarder at Upper Canada College. Here he met several members of the Canadian establishment whose lives he would later chronicle.
